The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, head of the Arab Journalists Federation, Mu'ayyad Al-Lami, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania in Baghdad, Radu Octavian Dobre, the prospects of media, cultural and economic cooperation between Iraq and Romania in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. The Ambassador of the Republic of Romania stressed during a visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate that the Syndicate and the journalistic family in Iraq have an influential and effective role locally and internationally, which calls on us to open horizons of cooperation between media institutions in both countries. For his part, the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mu'ayyad Al-Lami, expressed his happiness for the visit of the Romanian Ambassador to the Syndicate's headquarters, expressing its readiness to establish media and cultural relations and achieve a partnership in this field with media institutions in Romania, in additi on to opening broader horizons of commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Al-Lami invited a number of journalists in the Republic of Romania to visit Iraq and see the campaign of construction, reconstruction, economic and security stability that Iraq is witnessing.
