Head of the National Negotiating Delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, met on Monday evening in Tehran with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. During the meeting, Abdul Salam congratulated President Pezeshkian on gaining the confidence of the Iranian people in assuming the presidency, and conveyed to him the greetings and blessings of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, expressing his admiration for the smooth political transition of power enjoyed by the Islamic Republic. The fraternal relations between Yemen and Iran were discussed, and ways to develop its to serve the two brotherly peoples. The meeting touched on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip and the steadfastness of its people in the face of the Zionist enemy. Source: Yemen News Agency
