The Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS), in collaboration with Global Hope Network International and with support of the American organization Joni and Friends, Tuesday distributed wheelchairs and other mobility aids to disabled military personnel and members of the local community in Zarqa. Wheelchair, maintenance and physical therapy specialists were on hand to test and modify the mobility aids to ensure comfort and benefit for users. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture to provide the much-needed assistive devices. The initiative, targeting injured military personnel from governorates across the Kingdom, is part of HCDS's ongoing efforts to support veterans through addressing their needs in partnership with official and private organizations.
