Doha: The General Assembly of Al Ahli SC elected Wednesday Hassan Yousef Al Mulla as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club and Abdullah Jassim Al Ishaq as Vice-Chairman by acclamation for the electoral term (2024-28). This came during the General Assembly meeting held at the club's headquarters after the legal quorum was completed in the presence of the founding and working members, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Aref Abdulrahman Al Abdullah was also appointed as general manager of Al Ahli SC. In his speech before the General Assembly, Al Mulla promised to work continuously to raise the level of the club and reach it among the ranks of Qatari clubs in all sports. He additionally praised the great efforts of the previous Board of Directors. The General Assembly meeting witnessed the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting for the season (2023-24), in addition to reviewing former chairman Abdullah Yousef Al Mulla's report on the club's work for the year endi ng last May including the successes achieved in various sports and the efforts made by Al Ahli SC's management to achieve them. The General Assembly meeting unanimously approved the work programs and plans for the new year (2024-25) and the members also agreed to form a membership affairs committee. Source: Qatar News Agency
