The Hashemite University and the University of Michigan-Flint/College of Innovation and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between them. The MoU aims to provide opportunities to exchange students, faculty members and researchers, conduct joint scientific research, exchange expertise to develop study plans and programs, organize conferences and seminars, and hold joint study programs. The MoU was signed on Tuesday by Wasfi Al-Rawabdeh, Vice President of the University, and Amal Al-Hosban, representative of the University of Michigan. Al-Rawabdeh said, "The Hashemite University is proud of the partnership with a leading university with a high status among international universities, and we look forward to activating the MoU as soon as possible to benefit university students in various colleges and programs." He expressed his hope to develop the MoU into a bilateral cooperation agreement to establish joint programs in the Faculty of Business sp ecialties at the bachelor and master levels. For her part, Al-Hosban gave a briefing on the College of Innovation and Technology at the University of Michigan as a modern and unique college that is concerned with technological and creative aspects, practical practice, and field application in the various modern programs it offers. The Faculty of Business also organized a dialogue session to introduce the academic programs and degrees offered by the University of Michigan, presented by Al-Hosban, and attended by members of the academic staff and a number of students in the faculty. The President of the University, Khalid Hyari, met with Al-Hosban, and voiced the university's aspiration to enhance international cooperation with prestigious international universities such as the University of Michigan, which has an advanced international ranking, especially in updating study plans and establishing joint programs in modern disciplines. Al-Hosban expressed the University of Michigan's readiness to provide educ ational opportunities for Jordanian students to complete their studies and for researchers to conduct their research and studies, especially that the university seeks to increase student diversity by attracting outstanding and ambitious students from different parts of the world.
