Handover ceremony, tribute to former youth sports minister held

A formal handover took place on Monday in the capital Sana'a as Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad succeeded Mohammed al-Muayadi as Minister of Youth and Sports. The ceremony, attended by ministry leaders, marked a significant transition in the youth and sports sector. In his remarks, Minister al-Mawalad commended al-Muayadi for his dedication during challenging times marked by aggression and a blockade. He acknowledged the achievements made under al-Muayadi's leadership despite the sector's struggles, highlighting the resilience and accomplishments of youth and sports facilities. Al-Muwalad outlined his commitment to advancing youth and sports programs, focusing on awareness, education, and capacity development.
