The Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Hajjah province has begun distributing pesticides to combat the fall armyworm as part of preparations for the upcoming winter agricultural season. The initiative, coordinated with the branches of the Agriculture Office across the districts, the Cooperative Union, and the Agricultural Committee, aims to support cooperative societies within the province. During the launch, undersecretary of Hajjah province Mohammed al-Qadhi, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in aiding agricultural societies, particularly in pest control, which is crucial for protecting crops such as grains. Director of the Agriculture Office Hassan Hazzazi highlighted that the pesticide distribution is a key component of the office's strategy to assist societies in their fight against the fall armyworm and other agricultural pests.
