The head of the development team in Sana'a Province, Abdullah Al-Marouni, inaugurated on Thursday in Bani Hashish district, Al-Rouna district Agricultural Cooperative Association warehouse , for drying grapes and collecting municipal raisins. The warehouse, which was implemented by the association with community participation and a contribution from the Social Fund for Development through the Small and Microenterprise Development Agency "SIMPS" at a cost of 15 million riyals, aims to receive the grape product from the region farmers, and dry it in the right ways to reach the raisin product, which is marketed through the directorate and the sector association . Al-Marouni praised the interaction of community members , association members , the level of cooperation between them, and their keenness to develop the work mechanism by providing infrastructure for the production of agricultural crops and fruits, drying and storing them in the right ways, in order to market them in local and foreign markets in a way that ensures their preservation and continued quality. The North Sector Agricultural Cooperative Development Association head , Fayez Saree, explained that the association, along with the district and village associations, is working to develop a mechanism to improve the services provided to farmers by looking for funding sources for special priority projects.
