The Ministry of Water Resources has settled the controversy over the reality of the current situation of Mosul Dam. The Director of Mosul Dam confirmed, in a video statement from the work site inside the dam in Nineveh Governorate, that the filling work in Mosul Dam is continuing and has not stopped, contrary to what some local websites and platforms have claimed. The Assistant Director of Mosul Dam, Engineer Muhammad Khaled Ibrahim, also spoke about the continuation of work in Mosul Dam and that there is no truth to any news about stopping work in Mosul Dam as reported by some pages and media.
