Google announced Wednesday a new application called "Google Vids," allowing users to create and edit videos within the suite of apps available to subscribers of its "Workspace" services. The company revealed that the application can serve as a comprehensive assistant for video writing, production, and editing, all within one package. The app will enable the creation of various types of content for work environments, ranging from instructional videos to product presentations, and it operates through the browser like other Workspace apps. Artificial intelligence plays a key role in the new application, providing companies with a wide range of customization and enhancement tools to assist in creating original content. It will also handle accompanying audio for the videos, adding music to the background and providing voice commentary from a selected range of specific voice comments or using the user's own voice commentary.
