Representative of the pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies sector at Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI), Dr. Fadi Atrash, stressed the importance of taking part in international exhibitions to open markets and increase Jordanian exports to foreign countries. Atrash made the remarks during a workshop for industrialists at the JCI 's headquarters Tuesday to discuss importance of foreign exhibitions as a gateway to promote the national industry, especially the pharmaceutical products. The event also demonstrated the "high quality" of the Kingdom's pharmaceutical industry, stressing the need to open new marketing destinations for it, according to a JCI statement. The JCI said it is making efforts to enhance presence of Jordanian products in global markets through continuous participation in local and global exhibitions, primarily CPHI Middle East 2024 in Riyadh, which is an "important" platform for displaying the Kingdom's products and contacting with international companies. During the workshop, Atra sh said benefiting from the Kingdom's trade agreements signed with countries worldwide, especially Arab nations, will contribute to increase investments and achieve growth in the volume of trade exchange, in line with the Economic Modernization Vision for 2033.
