Germany announced on Monday that it has sent an Air Force plane to Lebanon to evacuate some employees of its embassy in Beirut and their family members, in addition to German citizens with health issues. According to Deutsche Welle, a joint statement by the foreign and defense ministries said that "an Air Force A321 aircraft went to Beirut today to support the departure of colleagues and their families."
