Gaza MoH warns of hospitals shutting down in Gaza Strip within days

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned of the stoppage of electric generators within 10 days due to the lack of oils, filters and spare parts for them. The ministry confirmed, in a statement, that this poses a great danger to the lives of patients, especially in sensitive departments such as operations, intensive care, and nurseries. It explained that the continuation of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupation's closure of all crossings, and its continued targeting of the health sector in Gaza affected the workflow in all the ministry's facilities. The ministry appealed to all concerned, international and humanitarian institutions to intervene quickly to bring in the generators' needs of oils, filters and spare parts. The health sector in Gaza is suffering from a stifling crisis; As a result of the direct targeting by the occupation forces and the removal of most hospitals from service, and the prevention of the entry of medicines and medical supplies to the sector, which is sub ject to the siege and the war of genocide that has entered its 352nd consecutive day.
