According to the statement, in light of the unavailability of heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators, these efforts will remain insufficient and will not meet the minimum needs necessary to recover the bodies of thousands of martyrs. The Civil Defense said that working with this primitive mechanism would take two to three years, especially since UN officials estimated that the occupation bombing left at least 37 million tons of rubble and rubble in all the gov ernorates of the Gaza Strip. The General Directorate of Civil Defense renewed its appeal to all relevant parties, led by the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the International Committee for Civil Protection, and all workers and stakeholders in the humanitarian field. In order to intervene urgently and put pressure towards allowing the entry of the necessary heavy equipment.
