SANA'A - SABA: Future University kicked off a series of cultural and sports activities on Monday to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. The festivities began with football league competitions among the university's college teams, held at Sam Recreational Club stadium, and attended by officials from the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research. This league is part of the student activities guide approved by the ministry, setting the stage for the central championship that will feature teams from both government and private universities. Ministry officials commended Future University's initiative to organize an internal football league to identify top players for the upcoming university-level championship. T hey also highlighted upcoming events, including a swimming championship and various other sports competitions such as football, tennis, and volleyball, alongside cultural contests. Dr. Adel al-Hamdani, Secretary General of Future University, emphasized that these activities are a way to express joy and reverence for the Prophet's birth. He stressed the importance of commemorating this occasion with the dignity and respect befitting the Prophet's revered status in the hearts of Yemenis and following his example in facing adversities from those who seek to undermine the nation's connection to its Messenger.
