Doha: FTSE Russell Global Equity Index Series announced the results of the semi annual review which will be effective after the close of Sept. 19, 2024 for the Qatari market. The semi annual review revealed the deletion of five Qatari companies from FTSE Russell Micro Cap Indices, namely: Baladna, Gulf Warehousing, Mannai Corporation, Qatar National Cement, and Qatari Investors Group. The review, published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Sunday, did not include the addition or reclassification of any Qatari company. FTSE Emerging Markets Index, an affiliate of FTSE global indexes and funds, mainly targets most emerging market stock exchanges. It offers major investments for the largest international banks and companies, and includes many European, British and international funds and investment portfolios. Source: Qatar News Agency
