Free medical camp inaugurated in Mahabsha in Hajjah

Dr Ahmed Al-Kahlani, Director of the Health Office in Hajjah Governorate, inaugurated today the free medical and surgical camp in Al-Mahabsha district.

The six-day camp, organised by the Yemeni Medicine Bank, in cooperation with Al-Khazan Hospital and in coordination with the Camps Department of the Ministry of Health, the Governorate Health Office and Al-Mahabsha Axial Hospital, aims to perform 250 operations in rabbit lips, migrating testicle, ear caries curettage, tympanoplasty and hernia, as well as an oncology clinic.

The director of the governorate’s health office praised the efforts to organise the camp and provide medical services to patients in a number of remote villages of Al Mahabsha and Al Sharafin and alleviate their suffering.

He stressed the keenness of the governorate’s health office to cooperate and support efforts that serve the people of the governorate. He stressed the need to expand the camps to include remote districts.

Dr Ahmed Al-Khazzan, Director of Al-Mahabsha Hospital, noted t
he demand for the camp to provide services to patients in many specialities and alleviate their suffering.

He praised the interest of the Ministry of Health and its office in the governorate and the efforts of the supporters of the camp.
