Former Israeli Minister Alleges Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza.

Tel Aviv: Former Israeli 'Defense' Minister Moshe Ya'alon has reiterated accusations that Israel is conducting ethnic cleansing operations in the Gaza Strip, sparking significant controversy. In a recent interview with the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Kan," Ya'alon asserted that war crimes are being committed in the area, particularly in northern Gaza. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ya'alon expressed his concerns during the interview, stating, "I stand by my remarks about Israel carrying out an ethnic cleansing operation in Gaza. I am speaking on behalf of individuals who served in northern Gaza. War crimes are being committed there." Ya'alon highlighted that these actions align with calls to reduce Gaza's population and echoed Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's statements about re-establishing settlements in the region. Ya'alon emphasized his moral obligation to warn the public about the situation, stressing that "Never has a democratic state faced trial at the Int ernational Criminal Court in The Hague for such actions." He previously revealed in a press interview that Israel is conducting what he described as a genocidal campaign, mentioning the absence of places like Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
