The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the escalation of the insane violence of the Zionist enemy against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the display of excessive force and unlimited support provided by the governments of countries allied with the Zionist enemy by sending American aircraft carriers and squadrons of warplanes to the region, as well as sending British warships and destroyers and German drones as a form of threat and protection. The statement stressed that the display of excessive force by Washington and its allies in Britain, Germany, France and other European countries complicit in the war of genocide against the residents of the Gaza Strip did not and will not cause any fear or hesitation for the countries of the axis of resistance and the revolutionary factions in several countries to carry out a strong and sudden response if the intensity escalates. The Zionist military campaign against the Gaza Strip and the displacement of its civilian population, as well as those operations against southern Lebanon and Syrian territories.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded the allies of the Zionist enemy that most fires may break out from small sparks. He said, “The Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian territories are not always, as they think, an open theater of operations for the Zionist forces and those who support them.”
The statement stated that the aircraft carriers, destroyers and battleships with which Israel is strengthening today at sea do not guarantee the developments of events, and it is not unlikely that they will be open and legitimate targets for any missiles with stronger destructive power and longer range that will come in response to any comprehensive invasion by the Zionist enemy of the Gaza Strip and the displacement of its residents, as well as its hostile operations on the territories of other Arab countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Yemen's position calling for stopping the aggression against the Gaza Strip and calling for an emergency meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to stop the escalation and warning of the development of military operations and the situation in the Gaza Strip, which could develop into a comprehensive regional war due to crossing any red lines, intentionally or unintentionally.
The statement pointed out the awareness of the fact that the reassurances or threats of the current allies of the Zionist enemy, which encourage it in its military operations and committing massacres against the civilian population, will not prevent the sudden launch of devastating missiles or the start of counter-military operations by the countries and peoples of the axis of resistance due to crossing such red lines.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Yemeni leadership, government and people stand by the Palestinian people in their recent ordeal, pointing out that the continued killing of defenseless civilians and the violation of the principles of Palestinian human rights in light of the silence of the international community and the threats of the American-Western coalition will not last long and it may be the beginning of a comprehensive war that will eliminate the intruding entity and expel the countries that support it from the region.
