Foreign Minister: Iraqi journalists made great sacrifices to convey the truth and defend national issues

Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein congratulated the Iraqi press family on the occasion of its 155th annual anniversary. Hussein stressed, via a congratulatory telegram, that "this day represents a station of pride and pride in the achievements of the ancient Iraqi press, and we are pleased to express our great gratitude and appreciation to our press, which performs its noble mission in serving the homeland with all efficiency and competence, and for its firm commitment to the honor of the journalistic profession, and its adherence to the integrity of the word and objectivity, within a framework of responsibility that supports the efforts of the homeland in the path of development and preserves its gains. " He added, "With their professionalism and courage, Iraqi journalists have made great sacrifices in order to convey the truth and defend national issues.
