The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker government, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, sent a cable of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood AlBusaidi, on the victims of the shooting incident that occurred in the Wadi Kabir area of the Wilayat of Muttrah. In the cable, the Foreign Minister expressed the solidarity of the Yemeni people and their leadership with the brotherly Sultanate in various circumstances.
