Jerusalem - Together - Late yesterday evening, Monday, settlers threw burning materials towards the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA), in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the city of Jerusalem. Settlers published recordings of a fire igniting in the courtyard of the agency's headquarters, after flammable materials were thrown at it. The settlers also threw stones at the employees while they were inside the agency's headquarters. Within less than a week, the settlers set fires twice inside the agency's headquarters, in addition to burning the air conditioner hose fixed to the window of the guards at the agency's door. Since last February, demonstrations have been held in front of the agency's headquarters, and settlers have closed its door and road to obstruct employees' access to it. They have also placed Israeli flags on its walls, and posters calling for its expulsion and closure on the agency's signs and walls. Last Friday, the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem was closed after it was set on fire.
