Sana'a - Saba - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Sunday with Director General of the Italian Intersos Organization Constantinos Moschohoritis who is in Yemen to assess the projects implemented by the organization in the field of health services. During the meeting, Minister Amer warmly welcomed Moschohoritis, highlighting a strong commitment from the leadership in Sana'a to engage with international governmental and non-governmental organizations operating in Yemen. He emphasized that the work program of the Government of Change and Construction prioritizes enhancing cooperation with the United Nations and other international organizations. The Minister stressed the importance of establishing relationships between government authorities and international organizations based on mutual trust, while fully respecting the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen, applicable laws, and the social values of society. In response, Moschohoritis underscored the organization's commitment to ensuring that its relations with Yemeni authorities are founded on mutual trust. He noted that this trust is essential in encouraging donors to increase their funding allocations for humanitarian projects. Source: Yemen News Agency
