Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met on Monday with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya. In the meeting, held ahead of the emergency international conference on the urgent humanitarian response to Gaza, scheduled to be held on Tuesday at the Dead Sea area, Safadi and Al-Yahya stressed the need to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza, which is causing unprecedented suffering and humanitarian catastrophe. The two ministers underlined the importance of intensifying efforts to ensure the delivery of adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip. They also reviewed the outcomes of the state visit of His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to the Kingdom in April and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields, in accordance with the directives of the leaderships of the two countries.
