The forces arrested 5 suspects, one of whom is wanted according to the provisions of the Anti-Smuggling of Oil and its Derivatives Law in Baghdad, Diwaniyah and Basra. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that the detachments of the Third, Sixth and Eighth Energy Police Brigades in the governorates of Baghdad, Diwaniyah and Basra arrested 5 suspects and seized 4 vehicles for various violations, including a suspect wanted according to Article (3 First) of the Anti-Smuggling of Oil and its Derivatives Law No. 41 of 2008, after conducting search and investigation operations about him. He explained that the suspects were detained, and the vehicles and the rest of the seized items were seized in preparation for completing the investigations and presenting them before the competent judiciary.
