GAZA: At least five Palestinians were killed and several others injured today as Israeli airstrikes targeted the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip. In Khan Younis, two civilians were killed and others were injured in an airstrike on the Qizan Abu Rishwan area, located in the southern part of the city. Additionally, one person was confirmed killed and several others injured after an Israeli airstrike hit a house belonging to the Jadallah family in the Al-Hawouz area of the Khan Younis refugee camp. In Rafah, two young men lost their lives in a separate Israeli airstrike on the city. They were subsequently transported to Nasser Medical Complex. Israeli forces also destroyed several homes near the Al-Awda Mosque in central Rafah. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,265 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 93,144 others injured.
