Detachments of the intelligence Agency responsible for combating organized crime in Babylon Governorate arrested five defendants in their possession of antiquities after trading in 13 antiquities and offering them for sale. The Agency stated in a statement that the Intelligence Agency's detachments specialized in combating organized crime in Babylon Governorate continued to pursue outlaws and traffickers in Iraqi antiquities, and through intensifying efforts, our detachments learned about the intention of a group of people to sell valuable antiquities. Immediately, the fundamental judicial approvals were obtained and a team was formed. An intelligence operation carried out, and through a precise ambush, five defendants were arrested in their possession of 12 antiquities made of gold and one antique jar. It added: 'A formal seizure report was prepared for the suspected antiquity materials, and the accused were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for their appearance before the court.
