GAZA: Five civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah. Local sources said that ambulance crews retrieved the bodies of four people from the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah. The occupation artillery also targeted al-Awda roundabout and the Yabna and al-Shaboura camps in the center of the city. They also pointed out that an elderly man was killed as a result of the occupation bombing of a house west of the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, Meanwhile, the occupation vehicles opened fire towards the al-Mughraqa and al-Zahraa area and Al-Rashid Street, north of the camp. In a related context, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the occupation targeted at least eight schools during the last ten days, including six belonging to the agency. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year has so far resulted in 38,713 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 89,166 others injured.
