Thick smoke billowed from a commercial building on Mecca Street in West Amman Saturday evening as fire engulfed multiple stories, but there were no injuries, according to the Public Security Directorate's media spokesman. He said Civil Defense crews and fire-fighters rushed to the scene, brought the blaze under control and evacuated people trapped inside the building.
