Minister of Finance Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed discussed during his meeting today with the Director General of Traffic, Brigadier General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, what has been implemented in the first phase of the General Traffic Department's plan to automate the services provided to citizens. The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Finance for the Budget Sector, Fouad Al-Kamim, and the Organization and Government Accounts Sector, Muhammad Amer, addressed the services provided by traffic, whether in the field or the security and service aspects related to activities, events and public celebrations. He reviewed the development plans of the General Traffic Department that are planned to be implemented during the coming period, including the second phase of automation and electronic collection of revenues. The meeting also discussed ways to support the Traffic Control Unit, which was established within the framework of the development plans of the General Traffic Department, in addition to the Road Traffic Police, which is the pioneering and modern experience of traffic, which has been distributed on a number of expressways between the governorates.
