Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said: "Whoever applauded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went down in history as a supporter of a bloody criminal," noting that "all of humanity witnessed an image in which the moral compass completely disappeared." He added in a post on the X platform today, Thursday: "The number of martyrs in Gaza is approaching 40,000, and millions of Palestinians have lost their homes and been forced to flee," noting that he believes that "all Israeli officials, especially Netanyahu, who caused this situation, will be held accountable before justice one day. Fidan stressed that "those who derive their strength from the truth, not from chants, and wait patiently for the day when justice appears, will certainly win." Netanyahu delivered a speech last night, Wednesday, before the US Congress amidst massive protests by thousands of supporters of Palestine in the streets of Washington, demanding an end to the war and not supplying Israel with weapons.
