The FBI announced Sunday that it has identified the person involved in the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The FBI said in a statement that the shooter was Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Pennsylvanias Bethel Park. For his part, Chief of Communications for the US Secret Service Anthony Guglielmi said that the gunman was neutralized immediately. Earlier today, the former US President and Republican Party candidate for the upcoming elections, Donald Trump, was subjected to an assassination attempt in a shooting that targeted him during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
