Amman: More than 35 lives were tragically lost, and dozens were injured in a devastating incident that occurred on Wednesday in the Mangaf area of Ahmadi Governorate in the south of Kuwait. According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Ministry of Health reported that medical assistance has been provided to a total of 43 individuals thus far, with 4 of them in critical condition. The injured have been dispersed across various hospitals throughout the country. In a statement, Major General Eid Al-Owaihan, the Director of the General Department of Criminal Evidence, disclosed, "We received a notification from the Ministry of Interior operations at precisely six in the morning regarding a fire in the Mangaf area. We immediately proceeded to the scene and successfully contained the fire." Al-Owaihan elaborated that the fire erupted in a building used to accommodate workers, where a significant number of individuals were present.
