Amman: Extremist Jewish settlers on Wednesday stormed the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque / al-Haram al-Sharif. The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers entered al-Aqsa Mosque in groups from the direction of the al-Magharebah Gate, under heavy guard from the Israeli occupation police. The department added that the occupation police turned the Old City of occupied Jerusalem into a military barracks, deploying hundreds of officers at close distances, especially near the gates of al-Aqsa.
