The index is on track to rise for the third consecutive week, marking the longest weekly winning streak in nearly five months. Meanwhile, the UK FTSE index increased by 0.3%. The oil and gas sub-index gained 0.7%, boosting the Stoxx 600 index due to rising oil prices. Additionally, automotive stocks rose by 0.6% after the Chinese Ministry of Commerce met with car manufacturers to discuss increasing tariffs on large-engine vehicles that run on gasoline.
