The European Union (EU) urged the Israeli entity to immediately end its military operation in Rafah. This came in a statement made by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell who warned by saying, "Should Israel continue its military operation in Rafah, it would inevitably put a heavy strain on the EUs relationship with Israel." The European Union called on Israel to refrain from further exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza through this operation which further disrupts the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza and is leading to more internal displacement, exposure to famine and human suffering. The statement called on the Israeli entity to reopen the Rafah border crossing and allow the entry of humanitarian aid to the strip. Source: Qatar News Agency
