Escalation of Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: 88 Palestinians Killed in Gaza in One Week

Gaza City: Israeli occupation forces have intensified their operations in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 88 Palestinians and injuries to 231 others from November 18 to 24, 2025. According to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the situation in Gaza has become increasingly dire, with five bodies recovered from under the rubble and 180 additional deaths confirmed during the Israeli aggression.

Israeli forces have breached the yellow line marking their control areas in Gaza, causing further displacement of Palestinians. Violations of the ceasefire agreement have been reported, with killings in Deir al-Balah, east of Shujaiyya, and Khan Younis. The forces have targeted women and children during bombardments in southern Gaza and have carried out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and naval bombardments in various areas, demolishing homes and arresting fishermen.

Reports have emerged about the cessation of operations by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in the region. The UNRWA and World Food Programme have raised alarms about the worsening humanitarian conditions, exacerbated by the onset of winter. Palestinians have also reported concerns about toxic substances leaking into groundwater in Deir al-Balah.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces have conducted 437 raids on Palestinian cities and villages, resulting in seven deaths, including three children, and 23 injuries. Israeli forces have arrested 292 Palestinians, including children, and settlers have engaged in numerous attacks, including theft, vandalism, and arson, targeting Palestinian properties and agricultural lands.

The occupation forces have demolished homes, shops, and livestock pens, while settlers have engaged in extensive land confiscation and destruction of olive trees. Settlement activities, including the establishment of new outposts, have continued, further escalating tensions. The total number of reported Israeli crimes in the past week has reached 1,633, reflecting a significant surge in violence and settlement expansion activities.
