The management of Erbil International Airport announced, today, Wednesday, the temporary suspension of flights there. The airport administration said in a statement: 'We draw the attention of travelers through Erbil International Airport to the fact that flights at the airport will be suspended today for three hours.' It attributed this to conducting emergency drills at the airport. The statement explained that the presence of a large number of ambulances, civil defense vehicles, police teams, and Asayish in the vicinity of the airport will be among the training requirements.
