Amman: The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Saturday announced the start of the "entrepreneurship ambassador" competition, targeting local entrepreneurs in southern governorates. The competition is part of the "Entrepreneurship Champions" project, which was launched by the Ministry in partnership with the Leaders International for economic development, and the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment Project implemented by the German Corporation for International Cooperation. The project seeks to improve the ecosystem for entrepreneurship and business development in Jordan, promote economic growth and sustainable development through developing entrepreneurship policies and systems, and encouraging the participation of women and youth in this field. During the competition, participants will present their projects and work and compete for the financial prize, and the winners will also receive the Entrepreneurship Ambassador title, which allows them to deal with dec ision and policy makers and participate in the decision-making process at the national level, the ministry said in a statement.
