Energy Police seizes a garage used for illegal trading in oil derivatives in Baghdad

Energy Police detachments seized a garage used for illegal trading in oil derivatives and found a vehicle prepared for smuggling in Baghdad. The Energy Police Directorate stated in a statement: The detachments of the Third Brigade in the Energy Police were able to seize a garage used for illegal trading in oil derivatives in the Ghazaliya area, next to Karkh in the capital, Baghdad. The operation also resulted in the seizure of a (Daalaj) type vehicle containing an oil product of an unspecified quantity and quality, in addition to the seizure of an iron tank with a capacity of (6000 liters). The seized items were seized in preparation for completing the legal procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary in accordance with the Anti-Smuggling of Oil and Its Derivatives Law No. 41 of 2008.
