The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today evening that the death toll from Israeli raids that targeted five towns in the south of the country since Friday morning has reached eight dead and three wounded. The ministry said in a statement that two people, one of them a seven-year-old child, were killed in a raid on Aita al-Jabal town, while three others were killed in another raid that targeted the Tayr Harfa town. It noted that one person was killed and two others were wounded in a raid on Mays al-Jabal town, while two people were killed and another was wounded in a raid on of Aitaroun and Maarakeh towns. It is worth noting that the Israeli army continues its escalation on towns and villages in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
