Egypt's Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Saturday condemned the Israeli operations in the cities of the occupied Palestinian West Bank, killing and injuring several and destroying roads and infrastructure. Al-Azhar accused Israel of planning to seize ownership of Palestinian lands and "Judaise" them, urging the international community to protect Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. Separately, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli operations on Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank. In a statement, the Ministry said the operations coincide with the ongoing operations in Gaza and the forced evictions of Palestinians in the West Bank, accusing the Israeli authorities of violating the international law. The statement warned of the danger of the continued escalation and Israeli violations of the holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, referring to the calls by the Israeli National Security Minister to establish a synagogue in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
