Egyptian Foreign Ministry Highlights Efforts to End Gaza Conflict

Jerusalem: Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced today that Cairo has intensified efforts over the past two years to secure a ceasefire and end the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip. These efforts are aimed at supporting recovery and reconstruction initiatives, all in alignment with international humanitarian law and principles of human rights, particularly emphasizing the right to life and self-determination.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry released a statement in observance of International Human Rights Day, highlighting Egypt's role in facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. The statement also underscored the country's commitment to creating conditions conducive to resuming the political process.

The ministry emphasized that International Human Rights Day reinforces principles of equality, freedom, justice, and human dignity on both national and international fronts.
