Cairo: Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty has called for intensified global efforts to secure an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This appeal was made during a phone conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, highlighting the urgency of the situation. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abdelatty briefed Kallas on the ongoing developments in the Middle East, stressing the importance of both regional and international collaboration. He emphasized the critical need for a ceasefire in Gaza and underscored the urgency of facilitating humanitarian aid to reach the enclave, which has been facing severe challenges. In his discussion with Kallas, Abdelatty highlighted Egypt's commitment to mediating peace and promoting stability in the region. The minister's outreach to the EU signifies Egypt's proactive stance in seeking diplomatic solutions to the escalating tensions in Gaza.
