A high-level source in Egypt denied on Monday what is circulating in the Zionist media about the existence of operating tunnels between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. The source said that "what is rumored about the alleged tunnels is the escape of "Israel" from its failure in the Strip, denying the existence of any operating tunnels between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. It noted that the Zionist entity turns a blind eye to the smuggling of weapons to the West Bank to find a justification for seizing the territory of the West Bank and practicing more killing and extermination of Palestinians. It pointed out that the Zionist entity has not provided any evidence of the existence of tunnels operating on the borders of the Gaza Strip and is exploiting the closed tunnels in Gaza to broadcast false claims to achieve political goals. The Zionist enemy army had deployed the forces of the 162nd Division and the Yalam unit along the Egyptian border with the Gaza Strip, to comb the border area and search for tunnels scattered in the area.
