An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale hit on Monday east of the Caraga region in the Philippines. The earthquake occurred 4.8 km east of Mindanao Island, at a depth of 50.6 km, the US Geological Survey said. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake.
