Dr. Bin Habtoor lays foundation stone and inspects work progress in number of health projects

Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor laid the foundation stone for a number of health projects in the capital secretariat. Where Dr. Bin Habtoor, along with Health Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, laid the foundation stone for the project of the Supreme Medical Council building and the international conference hall. They listened to an explanation from the head of the Medical Council, Dr. Mujahid Maasar, about the project, which will be built on an area of five thousand and 240 square meters, and includes study halls, offices, and laboratories in addition to service facilities. He pointed out the importance of the project in enhancing the functional stability of the council, developing the components of its work, and carrying out its tasks, especially in the technical and educational aspects. The caretaker Prime Minister, along with Minister Al-Mutawakkil, laid the foundation stone for the Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specializations building proje ct, which will be built on an area of three thousand and 895 square meters. The project comes within the plan of Public Health and Population Ministry to develop the infrastructure components of the Council, and provide the appropriate place for the nature of the Council's work with its various material and technical requirements at the level of all specialties. Dr. Bin Habtoor and Dr. Al-Mutawakkil also laid the foundation stone for the projects of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies building and the Authority's stores. The head of the authority, Ali Abbas, explained that the authority's building will be built on an area of five thousand and 442 square meters, while the area of land on which the authority's stores will be built is 1,780 square metres. He explained that the two projects come within the framework of the authority's development plan and to keep pace with the increase in the authority's activity and its supervisory role to supervise the pharmaceutical sector, whether loc al or imported. The Prime Minister, accompanied by Minister Al-Mutawakkil, was briefed on the progress of the ongoing construction work to complete the building of the Great Messenger Project for Oncology Treatment, which has a total area of 44 thousand square meters and a cost of three million and 405 thousand dollars, with funding from the Cancer Control Fund. Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his appreciation for all the efforts made by the Ministry of Health to develop the general performance of medical institutions, facilities and infrastructure that help stabilize and develop activities in this important service sector. He praised the Great Messenger Hospital project for oncology treatment, which is an important step in providing medical and therapeutic services for cancer patients at the national level, expressing satisfaction with the level of achievement in establishing this vital project.
