Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, a newly appointed member of Supreme Political Council took the constitutional oath on Tuesday before the Chairmanship of the Parliement. Following the oath, Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his gratitude to Speaker of the Parliement Yahya al-Rai' and the members of Parliament for their cooperation with the government over the past eight years. He commended their steadfastness in supporting the Yemeni people against foreign occupiers and criticized those who withdrew from Parliament, accusing them of betraying their country. The Parliement speaker welcomed Dr. Bin Habtoor, acknowledging his national role and honorable positions throughout his political career. Al-Rai' wished him success in his new duties and congratulated him on gaining the trust of Yemen's leadership. In recognition of his efforts, the Speaker awarded Dr. Bin Habtoor the Parliement's Shield for his contributions to resisting aggression and the ongoing siege. Source: Yemen News Agency
