Dozens of innocent civilians, including children and women, were murdered and others sustained injuries this evening in a series of indiscriminate Israeli aerial and artillery strikes targeting the neighborhoods of Shujaeya, Al-Tuffah, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra, Al-Sheikh Radwan, and Tal Al-Hawa in Gaza City. WAFA correspondents, quoting witnesses, reported horrifying scenes of dozens of bodies scattered in the streets of Gaza City, with rescue efforts obstructed by the nonstop, intensive Israeli bombardment on the city. Eyewitnesses also reported that the residential complex targeted by the Israeli occupation forces in the Shujaeya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, housed at least 1,000 people, resulting in the tragic deaths and injuries of dozens of innocent civilians. The Civil Defense in Gaza said it has been facing tremendous challenges in its rescue efforts due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes, with direct targeting of their personnel and medical crews attempting to rescue victims from the rubble of home s in various areas of the Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces bombed a populated home belonging to the Barawi family in the city of Beit Lahia, resulting in the murder and injury of scores of civilians. The Israeli airstrikes extended to the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, while in central Gaza, medical sources reported an influx of injuries to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital following the aerial bombardment by Israeli reconnaissance planes targeting a group of civilians in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation forces committed another massacre in Jabalia refugee camp, where around 100 civilians lost their lives in a missile strike targeting a residential building belonging to the Obeid family. Dozens were injured in the massacre, with many others missing under the rubble. Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, over 16,000 Palestinians, including 6,500 children and more than 4,500 women, have been killed by Israeli aerial or artillery bombardment, according to non-final estimates. Additionally, over 38,000 individuals have been wounded. Meantime, thousands of civilians remain unaccounted for, with fears mounting that many may have perished beneath the ruins of their homes. Despite continuous efforts by emergency and rescue teams, the retrieval of these individuals has proven challenging amid the severe shortage of civil defense equipment under Israel's relentless aggression on the enclave.
