Dozens of people were killed and injured at dawn today as a result of the Israeli bombing of the cities of Gaza and Rafah in the Gaza Strip. Local sources said five people were killed and many others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted an inhabited house belonging to the Shteiwi family, west of the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip. Dozens were also killed and injured in an Israeli bombing of the inhabited homes of the Hammad and Atallah families in the vicinity of the al-Sahaba Medical Complex in the center of Gaza City, said local sources, who confirmed that there is no possibility of recovering the bodies of the dead due to the presence of the occupation tanks in areas close to al-Jalaa Street in the city. The occupation forces also targeted a house in Bureij refugee camp and the north of Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip and bombed several sites in the north, center and south of the Gaza Strip.
